The right turbo Combo (Thanks Bison)

I have a Stock appearing GN that performed well at BG in 2011. (11.32@118) The down side was sever lag with stock appearing parts. After the race I installed a 3" down pipe to the pypes 2.5 exhaust and a KN 9" air filter. The performance was much better but still not great. I had been reading all the posts on turbo performance and Bison always had the most information to learn from. I contacted Bison about my combo and we made a deal to swap out my 6265 for what I needed. The new turbo is now installed with the stock appearing parts and performing great! The lag is gone! I cant wait to get to the strip! I would post what this new turbo and combo is but being a TSA competitor I don't want to give it away! Bison will help you out he is a rare individual!

Cool, it would be interesting to hear the wheel combo. I know what one of the 10 sec TSA cars is running, and some of the issues that come with the stock stuff bolted to it. It will be interesting to see how it runs. I have some theories on how to make the TSA stuff faster, just no car to test on.

Bill, Clay, John and Red are the TSA competitors I have had the pleasure of meeting and competing against. I hope the class continues to grow, it is very challenging! We all have our combinations and that is a big part of the lure in this class, I wish to preserve all the challenges of the class. I sure wish I was closer to BG, no TSA in the western area....yet!

So this is why my combo is not posted.
I would like to thank all the TB Vendors and contributing members, could not do this without them!

Ya, my wife put the smackdown on a viper years ago. She said, "He really wanted to race, so I give it to him." lol.

Yes, they truly are, 10.90s! That's when a great hole shot makes all the difference!

This was my 3rd pass with the new turbo.....I only went to test the new combo...it paid off with $500.00 on MAV TV/One & Done!

I did lift some when he pulled to the center line! I checked the data log later and noticed I did not get back in to it after passing, that made it a narrow margin of victory! Lol can't wait for the next race!
