Is it just me? I mean, do we really need a primetime show glorifying drug use? Seems that a mainstream station like CBS would be a bit more selective on their subject matter. Take a pill to feel better, then do whatever it takes to keep dosing each day. WTF kind of message is this to be sending out to the "baby sitter of the masses" (TV)? This country is in the sh!tter and the hand is on the flush lever...

Sad to say i watched it and never looked at it that way, (BTW you are 100% correct) i looked at it from a "i bet the G-men have something like this that no one knows about" point view and enjoyed the show.
I was totally oblivious to the condoning of drug use aspect of the show. talk about not paying attention. Duhhhhhh

What about when they grew those vegetables from radioactive seeds on Gilligan's Island? They poisoned themselves theoretically but gained super human powers briefly. Mrs. Howell ate sugar beets and cleaned their hut in nothing flat. :D Not much difference vs. this show.

Yes - if - kids today could tell the difference between fantasy and life. With all the crap they get hit with and the severe lack of parenting and social skills, I have my doubts. I'd still like to see TV become more of a learning tool than just a sad way to waste time...

Maybe I'm just easily amused but this post cracks me up! That episode of Gilligan's Island is my wife's all time favorite. Still talks about it every now and then.
