On the HA intake there are 2 "plugs" with wires attatched. one with 1 wire facing toward the front of the engine and the other with a 2 wire plug facing up. Which one is for what? Reason I am asking is I now have an aftermarket fan relay which utilizes a threaded hole in the intake as well as the new temp guage that I bought. My delima is where to plug in the fan thermostat and the temp guage. Can either or both of the existing "wired" plugs in the intake be done away with to utilize these threaded holes or is there a different port that everyone uses?
Thanks, Steve

It isn't very clear to me if either one of these can be done away with. If you do away with the idiot light sensor to utilize that port will the idiot light stay on or just not come on? I am using a stand alone fan relay and I told Eric that when I ordered my TT chip so do I need the 2 wire ecm plug anymore?
Thanks, Steve

"Idiot light" switch has just one wire (on/off)
The 2 wire sensor is the "temp sensor" and required for proper operation.

You can leave the single wire switch (AKA Idiot light) lead unplugged, and replace that switch. Light will not come on as this switch is the ground side of the bulb.

You need the 2 wire switch for ECM control functions.
