first,you need a nonluck convertor.if you have a lock up you can have it rebuilt with the clutch omittedand save a few bucks over purchasing a new one and avoid stubbing your toe on the old one thats left over .you can also install a non lock up valve in the pump and pull the flow impeding ball out of the inputshaft ,however these 2 steps have proven to be redundant as non lock up convertors have been installed for 20 years in such a manner with no ill side effects .youll like the increase in throttle response to .it is noticable because the non lock up is lighter alowwing the engine to rev and respond to applied loads easier you will however see an increase of 200 rpms at a cruise speedsand a little more fuel consumption and engine noise but youlllove the throttle response when you open the throttle blades .less flywheel load allows kwikker spooling of the turbo and we know what that means. we sell a 2500 nonluck for 225 bucks in case you r interested.ckperformance.com
