Just a little humor to help ease the pain of your next trip to the
pump...
Think a gallon of gas is expensive?
This makes one think, and also puts things in perspective.

Diet Snapple 16 oz $1.29 ........ $10.32 per gallon

Lipton Ice Tea 16 oz $1.19 ..........$9.52 per gallon

Gatorade 20 oz $1.59 ..... $10.17 per gallon

Ocean Spray 16 oz $1.25 $10.00 per gallon

Brake Fluid 12 oz $3.15 . $33.60 per gallon

Vick's Nyquil 6 oz $8.35 .... $178.13 per gallon

Pepto Bismol 4 oz $3.85 . $123.20 per gallon

Whiteout 7 oz $1.39 ........ . $25.42 per gallon

Scope 1.5 oz $0.99 .....$84.48 per gallon

And this is the REAL KICKER...

Evian water 9 oz $1.49..........$21.19 per gallon?!

$21.19 for WATER - and the buyers don't even know the source. (Evian spelled backwards is naive.)

So, the next time you're at the pump, be glad your car doesn't run on water, Scope, or Whiteout, or God forbid Pepto Bismal or Nyquil.
:D

hmmmm.... cost of LP conversion/price of gallon of gas/30 gallons a week=x number of weeks to pay for conv... factor in difference of $.80 per gallon...

= time to go shopping:(

razor blades?

Haven't heard that one before...

Cereal - YES... they just had my favorite on sale recently so I stocked up. Then I realized I only got 4 bowls out of it. 4 freakin bowls! If not on sale, that's over a buck a bowl!

Oh well, still better and cheaper than denny's:D

I dunno about the whole gas thing though - unless you drive a whole bunch and need to fill up more than once a week... what does it really come out to?

30 gals*.50/gal... $15 a week? $780/ year...

wait a minute...

damn...

Now I hate buying gas too:(

Never really put in on paper like that before... bummer

Razor blades Mach blades 5 for $9.99:mad:

Gas I drive 100 miles a day, the demo I had was costing me $10.00 a day BEFORE gas went up, Then it went to $20.00 plus tolls. Therefore the demo is parked and I drive our 140k Camry, back to $10.00 per day:(

*****You can get the Mach blades on sale for about $9 around here. 5 blades plus 2 freebies special. Dunno how often you replace yours but they tend to last me a couple of weeks each. You aren't shavin' your legs too are you??? :)

Also, I agree cereal is crazy expensive for what it is. I just buy it when it's on sale too. Occasionally, the cereals I like have a buy one get one free deal going
at the local market, and I stock up. It's still cheaper than going out to eat.

I'm pretty happy now, as I just got back from the market with 4, 12pk Pepsi products for $10.. I guess I'm a sucker for a bargain, but as I was standing in line to pay for my stuff, I couldn't help but notice some lady with kids in tow, buying full price stuff (mostly junk food), drinks, etc.. and paying with what looked like food stamps. That was kinda depressing, as you'd think being on public assistance with a very limited food budget, you'd be looking at stretching that dollar by buying stuff on sale... I had like twice what she had in her cart for stuff that took me no more time to pull off the shelf, but was on sale, and my bill was lower overall, and I got more food, etc.. Wow.
