Thrasher Chip = MOTOR POPS

I finally installed my street thrasher 92 chip today.
My fuel upgrades had been made a few weeks back with new walboro pump. I rechecked my fuel pressure at 45lbs as recommended.

I ran the GN for awhile then went for a short ride.
The chip seems to make the engine run smoother & have better
bottem end response.

Coming out of a side street onto a clear strech of road I
decide to get on it.
BOOST went wild right to 20 & the motor popped once real loud.
SCARED the CR_P out of me..
sounded like it came from kone filter.

anybody have this problem? My turbo mechanic guru suggests an adjustible wastegate.

See...now the Thrasher did the OPPOSITE for my car. It runs rough....

Cant build any boost against the brake.
Chugs along like its got a miss.
Doesn't do much for boost.

All you need to do is to make your wastegate actuator adjsutable. You can buy them that way or modify your own. All necessary information is on www.gnttype.org/tech

With the adjustable actuator, you can lenghten the length of the actuator rod to lower boost.
