My understanding was that with the Thrasher the ECM would utilize the "learned" Closed Loop values to adjust fueling with the 02 disconnected...based on the answers above it seems that the car is running in traditional open loop. It seems that the only thing you gain would be (1) not throwing a code and (2) not buying new 02's...is this correct?
So is there any benefit to installing a T108 with the O2, going through some driving/load cycles to get the BLM's in there general area, then removing the O2. Or are all of the learned values ignored at this point?
