Three Part Engine Rebuild Article

I remember seeing a three part article with pointers on rebuilding a 3.8 turbo. Anyone know how I can get ahold of a copy of this?

One other source you may be thinking of is the Buick Grand National Racing Assoc. had a 3 part series in their newsletter with Lou Czarnota back in 2001 or so.

I believe the gmhightech website actually has/had the articles available online.. I know I ended up getting part2 in a magazine and printing part 1.

You could probably score it in a google cache if you want to take a look.

Anybody here have one of these Merkel engines? How do they hold up? I keep worrying about doing my own rebuild an dlosing a cam. The articles never mentioned the famous #3 Exhaust problem

They would have to be better than my buddies recent rebuild. It lasted him 300 miles.
