Throttle Body two water hose port

I'm in the process of replacing the two Throttle body shaft seal to which I found was leaking vacuum during the Boost Leak Test.
I'm curious, om why are two water hoses going through the Throttle body when each one is connected about 3" from each hose port?

its just a passage for coolant to flow under the bottom edge of the throttle blade to prevent ice from forming and sticking the blade on cold damp days .. most disconnect and loop the line on the heater rail in some wifes tale that its better for hp ..it means nothing to hp if its left there but if the lines are worn they could become a coolant leak
