Ticking speedometer ?

So I've been chasing this ticking sound around my dash, I grease the cable behind the speedometer dash , I greased the connection by the firewall under the windshield wiper motor . Is there another connection under the dash or around there . I hear the ticking there . I only hear it when I'm accelerating ? Any suggestion because it's annoying !! Thanks guys

Sounds like the work of a terrorist KABOOM!

Did your weather get colder? I always notice more ticks & noises come winter time. Then again our winter is 20 - 30 degrees..

Yours winters are prolly 60 - 70.

This happened to me when I changed my powermaster brake system.I moved the cable and the ticking started.After moving the cable a little bit the ticking stopped.
