ticking when hot.....

I have a ticking sound coming from the tranny when it's warmed up. It doesn't do it until it gets up to normal operating temp and gets a little louder after a few passes.

It is not an exhaust leak. Can the front pump or converter cause this ticking sound?

Sounds like the pump rotor .
