Here is a question for the guru's:
How do you tighten your AC belt?

I am not talking about loosening the bolts, etc but ........
You at some time or another, have to pull/pry on the AC unit and tighten it back up. I know this sounds simple, but for the life of me, I have not yet seen a "convenient place" to pry at/on. (like the square hole in the power steering pump bracket)

Jerryl, my car has the square hole bracket at the 10:00 position if you are looking at it from the front. It only is attached through the one bolt and is above the refrigerant lines two lines. I will get you a pic and measurements on it if you like. It is something that could be fabricated with a Dremel Tool.

Here are some pics. Maybe try the junk yards too.

Jerryl- My 85 has the same square hole. Get a 3/8 to 1/2 socket adapter and you are in business with your ratchet. Brad

Looks like I need to try and purchase a bracket. Never saw that before on the AC. Learn something new every day. Thanks fellas!
