It looks like our intake will be between $450 and $550 U.S., and the heads will be just under $1K U.S. ready to bolt on. We may (probably will) offer a package deal on the heads and intake.
If you are not going to go all the way on a set of heads, the fully worked intake will probably not be worthwhile for you. The reason being that the heads will be a big bottleneck compared to the intake.
The average set of ported heads I've seen won't go much past 190 cfm per port on the intake, where as our heads will hit around 210 cfm per port (we're trying something a little different, we may see 220 cfm per port), and the open plenum intake will go around 230 cfm per port.
Yes, there is no question that our parts are expensive. The work we're doing is labor intensive. Honestly, there isn't much profit margin there either, due to the time involved, and in the case of the heads, the quality of the parts installed. I've not seen anyone charging less stay in business long, and I don't plan to close up shop any time soon.
The first intake (and possibly the second) will be ready the second week of November, and if they aren't gone by then, there will be ONE set of heads available also.
As I said before, this will be done in a far different manner than you might expect. I will not accept orders, money, or cores, until I have parts ready to ship. This will be done on an exchange basis, we'll have intakes and heads ready to ship, and you send us your intake and/or heads with a cashiers check or money order, and your parts WILL be shipped within 24 hours.
We've been in business for over 20 years, and we'll be here for a long time to come, to offer service after the sale.
