So I decided to play around trying to see what's car liked best.
I dropped my timing with the Gen2 over all from 21.5 to 20.0 than added a couple degrees in first and second gear.
Took it for a rip and my max psi dropped 1,to 2lbs with no other changes is that right?

So added a couple pounds of boost.
Plus a couple degrees of timing with the gen2 below 3000 rpm.
I think I'm on the right track leaves good from a dig pulls great up top.

how are you tuning the car?wideband, scanmaster, pulling plugs, monitoring fuel?what fuel?

94 pump gas and alky I have a wide band and a knock gauge hood mount fuel pressure gauge i use the wide band correction on the GEN2 it's dialled in for around 10.5. My scan tool is an Autoxray it can be set up to run in capture mode where it logs 20 frames of sensor data, works well.

so what exactly are you looking to do?max power tune, hot street tune etc.i like to pull plugs to see how things are really doing especially when turning things up.

at this point I'm trying to find 4 tenths I would like a 10:99 my goal prior was an 11:49 a new converter got me an 11:43 from an 11:70.
These passes were at 21 degrees of timing across the board and 25 psi of boost, I want to see what I can get out of this stock bottom end and don't plan to go any faster than the 10:99.
I could through some race gas in it and crank up the boost and timing to achieve a 10:99 and I might just do that to get my time slip problem being I only get to go to the track once maybe twice a year.
We have a race at the local airport every August and if I want to go to another track its a 4 hour trek with a Ferry ride $500.00 day just to go to a test and tune.

On the street I usually turn the boost down to about 22-23 psi set on stun not kill ;)

gotcha, can you give me a rundown of the timeslip?60ft 330 660 et and mph?4 tenths may be easy or hard depending on how hard the car is leaving.

Here are the time slips pretty consistent. Drag Radials
This was with a 27 inch tire leavening at 2800 rpmI have added 28 inch tires and plan to leave at 3000 rpm

leave the tune alone for now plently left in that combo, gotta drop that 60ft down to the low 1.5's.leave more on power without shocking the tire, the taller sidewall will help take the initial hit.this is where many fail to realize the combo potential time must be spent on tire pressure suspension and driving the car balancing boost and rpm leave correctly to hammer down the 60ft and 330.

once you get the 60/330 down then adding more boost and looking at 1/8-1/4 mile mph gains will help max the combo out.does the car have heads?if so the back end gains are a little soft right now indicating the converter is on the looser side

Thanks for the insight, that was my thought going to the larger tire, plus the converter made a huge difference. I ran and 11.8 at 121 with a 2.00 short time :P
I do have square tube rear control arms 1 airbag and adjustable front shocks.

The heads have been ported a little just had the throats opened up under the valves.

I installed a TR6 ignition module this winter with the built in 2 step i plan to start a 3000 rpm and if it holds the track I'll creep up the launch rpm.
