Timing chain

Hi to all! When you put a double roller timing chain in, do you put back the chain tensor or leave it out.

Leave it out. If you put it back on, you will eat that plastic up and get to the metal and that will not be good on the inside of your engine.

Went back in the engine to take it out. Thanks
