Timing control box...Does Jacob's make one??

I have a Jacob's Pro Street Ignition set up, but I need something to retard timing under boost.

Does Jacob's sell something for this or can I get something from MSD to work with it??

Translator + will do it.

New timing control box from Bob Bailey and Ramchargers should do it as well.

Search in the tech. area could help you find some info.

Don't know about the MSD and Jacobs boxes.

Translator + replaces the MAF with the LS1 version and allows timing control.

The new timing box thing they sell just does spark timing control with any MAF and chip setup, that would be the way to go.

Hi guys,

I'm posting in tech to get the word out.
(Ramchargers will be posting in the Vendor area)

This unit is the spark side of the Translator Plus and allows the adjustment of base and WOT spark, just like the T+, but also has a trigger wire that enables another WOT knob that is effective over 1000 RPM. This additional adjustment can be used as an "octane switch" (like when alchy is used) or as a launch/spool retard.

This unit is designed to be mounted inside the car and wires directly to the ECM.

This unit can be used on any GN, (many other vehicles, too). It is compatible with ANY chip or thumbwheel.

Ramchargers will have them soon, as well as the usual group of vendors and distributors.
