Timing the Cam Sensor

I just recently dropped my (leaking) oil pan and took off my timing cover to replace it and it is now back on the car. I now need to time my cam sensor..but I'm not sure how I could do this. I don't have the timing tool but I heard I could do it with an OHM meter..of anyone can help me out with suggestions or info that I should know when and how to do this that will be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!!
