I don't think that I spliced into the correct wire on the module for my timing control for my translator plus. I cannot get the car to idle worth crap with the translator timing control pluged in, but the car will idle normally with the loop plug in. If someone could take a picture of their correctly spliced module that would be a great help to me.
Thanks

Which wire did you splice into, and what colors lead where?

White Wire = EST

U need to cut into the White wire at the Ignition Module Wire Harness. This harness is plugged into the module under the coil pack. The 13 terminal are marked A - P (there is no "O"). A is the white wire EST. This is the one U need to cut. I cannot be sure, but I remember it being the end closest to the fire wall. But the wire next to it is Tan with Blk stripe.

Hope this helps Good luck.

That is the wire I am tapped into but the car won't idle worth crap. I have maf and timing control but the car won't idle and it dies from time to time. Has anyone else had any of these problems?

Brad,
Did you tap into the wire at the ECM (in car) or at the Module (under hood)? I had similar idle /running problems when I tapped into the wire at the ECM. The problems went away when I switched it to the module.

has anyone mounted their unit in the car successfully? If so, which wires do you tap into?
