I have a dark red metallic car, chrome bumpers, wo2 option. Do you think I should go with Titanium tint to match the chrome bumpers and weld wheels? Or go with black to match the wo2? Thanks all!
I vote NO tint, couldn't see for crap at night when it was on my car but then you are probably a lot younger than me. Night vision isn't too good any more.
Haven't seen a car yet that looked good with the titanium tint. I'm assuming that's the shiny chrome-like reflective kind like you see on that Lexus SUV.
In MS, you don't have to worry about it being so dark you can't see at night. Stupid tint laws!
I second that....go w/ 5% or no less than 10%. I have 20% on my daily driver an when its sunny, its doesnt do much. So dont go any lighter than 10% is my advice.

i disagree ....i say dont get any darker than 20%.....15% is the absolute darkest you should go on the doors and 5-10% is OK on the rear and sail windows....but i recomend 20% on the doors otherwise you wont be able to see jack out of them....just my opinion tho

Click on my website link below to see 25% black on a Dark Red Metallic T. I wouldn't go any darker than 25% because of night vision. Post a link for a pic of you Red Met Limited, or send me a pic, I'd like to see it. Tim

5% black all around on mine. looks 100% meaner than before. chrome tint=ghetto and tickets. my friend got busted 2 times for his chrome tint. cops hate it. my dad is a cop and even said so. im 18 and have 5% all around and night driving isnt hard at all but i do turn to look when switching lanes now. mt dad got %5 on his camaro and is like 45 and has glasses and dont complain about it.
I agree with TTA. Definetly check what is legal in your state, I believe that Titanium is actually illgal in some. Just for the record my GN has 35% which is the legal limit in MD.
May not be BLACK but it is dark and still looks nice and easy to see out of at night. My old Pontiac had 15% and I used to have to put my windows down at night in dark neighborhoods.
You might get your state to put a sticker on it that approves it, sure takes care of the police stops.
God I love illegal window tint. Keeps me busy all day! The shops make $ putting the stuff on, I get $ for writing tickets, courts get $ in fines, shop gets $ for removing it, my bosses like my production #'s. I see it as a win-win-win-win situation.
PS. Haven't written a single ticket to a Turbo Buick....and propably never will. Stopped a GN for an expired plate. Had a 20 min chat with the older feller and sent him on his way along with an invite to come over and see the Typhoon he has stored away. Great people out there.....
The only way it makes me any more $ is if people go to court on my day off and force me into overtime.
As far tint and it's use I agree it makes a car look great but I think there's a serious safety issue there. If someone (like me) has sensitivity to light then simply use sunglasses. At least those can be removed for night driving unlike tint. As far as UV protection goes "shaded" tint isn't necessary. Clear window film is available that filters out UV rays.
I can't imagine driving a car with 5% limo tint (the % is the amount of light allowed thru the glass, this means 95% of the light is blocked) during a foggy night in the rain. Talk about an accident waiting to happen....
