Tire help!

GN with 16"x8" GNX style rims (new Kirban style) looking for a 28" drag radial.
Mickey Thompson offers a 295x50x16 for 8" wide 16" rims.
Will these fit in the wheel wells?
Also, M & H offers a 275x55x16 for 9" rims.
Will these fit in the wheel wells with an 8" rim?

Went with the M & H 275/55/16 with rear spacers.
After these wear out will go with MT 255's.
295's takes too much adaption for my taste.
