tires?

Guys im debating what tire to put on my ride next . I ran 275/50 15 BFG TAs for years and they seemed to be Good , i actually went 1.70 on them once . So back in April i put on a set of the drag radials . Is it me or do they just suck . On my last outting the 60 ft times were like 2.15 average , granted the track really blew but even the time i went before i wasnt to impressed . I was thinking of the MT sportsman pro , anyone run these > if so DO tell , Im tempted to put on MT streets but that seems like asking for trouble for the amt i drive my car . Ok thanks or mabe ill just go back to the TAs go figure.

Go back to the T/A's ,buy some slicks, mount them on other set of wheels and HOOK that baby! I had good luck with Hoosier slicks.

I HAD 275X50X15 BFG DRAG RADIALS ON STOCK RIMS WITH 1/4
INCH WHEEL SPACERS 1.9 60 FOOT ALLSTOCK EXCEPT FOR FUEL
SYSTEM . NO BURNOUT RUN THEM COLD AT THE TRACK LITTLE
BURN OUT IF ANY . ( LOVE MY NEW ET STREETS 28X12.5X15 )

Well i ended up going with MT sportsman pros 26.15.12.50 . There Ok, they are big and look nice from the rear and even though there are soft they have fairly deep tread on them . At the track they hooked alright but this track i go to sucks anyway . After reviewing my old slips i think im going to have my 9.5 precision ind. convertor rebuilt . with that con the car would do 1.85 60fts on 245/50/16s so that leads me to belive it works better than the 12 inch im using now. This is the conv. i went 1.70 on reg BFG TAs 275/50/15 on stock rims so go figure.Next up is some SLICKS!
