To lower or not..?

That car really does sit well. Just one question, Mike. You say the car is lowered 1" all round. How was that achieved with the mods you refer to without lowering springs or did I miss something?

The car has 1" lower (and stiffer) springs at all four corners. With a 28" tire out back, this brings the rear bumper back up to stock hight, with a big tire tucked inside. The nose is dropped an inch, while keeping the stock size tires. Air bags have around 10 psi in them. This isn't enough to raise the back any. It just keeps things from bottoming out on big bumps. Also helps at the track.

On the back I have a large pinion snubber (3.5" I think). I also have stock rear control arms. I run a 315/35/17 on 10" rim. I used to get a little light rub(stock soft springs with no snubber) on the rears before I went to the hotchkis springs. Now I have no rub at all on the rear but I do hit the snubber on big dips or bumps. I dont rub in the back and it looks as low as I think I could run without tucking the rears and "thats impossible Rhonda".

just trying to figure out which ones are being used. i'd like my car to sit lower and handle a bit better.

I'm curious to see what everyone thinks the best drop springs for our cars are. Eibach, Hotchkis, DSE, something else? The Hotchkis and DSE look alot thicker than the eibach so I'm thinking alot firmer sportier ride with less body roll. I'd like to hear some opinions with some real world feedback. I've already seen the story on the DSE and I know they're quality parts so I'm wondering how to other two stack up.

I just got Eibach's 1" drop sport springs, there way to loose for road handling with big tires,I had Applied Techknowledges an Research Rate Springs from the 80's before that i love, but i need to find set's that's lower,might have a custum set done up now

hello peeps: I was thinking about asking the same question and I'd like to here some feed back.
When I get my TB out I'm going to do some measuring and see how it compares with others. My front springs are suppose to of lower the front 1" (GSCA front springs) and on the back I have the ones Kirbans sells. I'd like it lower with no issues when doing it.
