To much time on my hands!!!!!

Ok here is the deal. I have a 1884 GN t top car that I have been using for parts for my other cars. I have a 350 motor laying around and a 700r4 trans as well left over from my Trans Am. I have been thinking about putting a V8 single turbo in the 84 GN and making another toy out of it. The thing is the block I have is a 2 bolt main and is the 700r4 a good trans for something like this?? I basically am looking to make around 600HP with a sinlge turbo and on pump gas. So what I am wondering is where should I start. I know the block is good and the crank will need to be replaced. I plan on driving this on the streets more or less. Any idea what I should put in the motor. Oh yeah and I plan on running a carb and no fuel injection!
