Well first thing this morning Carl aka Sonseeker came over and just his presence helped smooth out my idle i been dealing with since swapping turbos but anyway

So i have my tt chip burnt for my old ta-49, got my te-61 on last night, doing some tune work on it, add fuel timing, pull timing etc untill i send back my chip for addonz.

Stopped at my friend Jeffs house this evening and said hey lets go for quick spin
hit a long on ramp to the Xway and at about 30 i kicked it down, boost solid 26#s, alky flowin, tires lit up bigtime then good bark into 3rd then hit 4th about just the time to merge, speedo was buried so who knows what speed but had to be a hundee judging from traffic doin 80 and we flew right past them.

Anyway just havin some fun

hope all is well

Mike

yeah easy install, took about 4 hrs making everything clean, tuning is always a pain, I have to pull out drive about a mile or so to I-75 to get a WOT then back to house to adjust, be it boost, fuel, timing.

Bad enough I'll burn through 40 bucks in fuel just in tuning...this car is not looking like a DD more and more each day

guess i'll have to eat more Raman noodles

Does the TE61 feel a lot better over the TA49? I just put the PT6776S on in the fall in place of the TE60. Haven't drove it yet with the new turbo, but imagine it should make a difference, at least seat-of-the-pants feel. I have a few things to get done before I get to put the stuff on the Buick I bought over the winter. 6776, Pats 3400 10",ATR sway bar, and Alkycontrol system. Shouldnt take more than a couple of days for installs. Then, we could get together sometime this summer. I like to meet people that I talk to on the boards when I can. I also know a few people that do track rentals at Milan from time to time, if your interested
