I'm BORED! Anyone else had this type of injury? My left arm was in a long arm cast for 5 weeks, been in a munster cast for a week now, it cups my elbow so I can't straighten my arm due to major ligament damage to TFCC and distal radial joint.(thanks to falling on my wrist ) Pins to come out in 3 wks. They are internal pins, have to cut skin to pull them out, sounds like fun
Not sure if I'll be in a cast or splint when they yank the pins out. From what the doctor says I'll have to have a lot of physical therapy. I haven't been able to do much of anything since surgery, just chopping an onion takes major thought. Can't drive, can't work...I think I've watched enough CSI to be able to change my occupation!
