Torque convertor stall after launch/shift?

What do your rpm's drop to after you shift into 2nd and/or 3rd? My transmission shifts at 5100rpm but the rpm only drops to 4900 after the shift unless I lockup the convertor. I'm having alot of problems with my torque convertor. What 2800 to 3000 stall lockup convertors are recommended other than the 9x11 and the Vigilante? Thanks for any input.

Now its too loose? hrmmm. First was too tight now it is too loose? When locked what rpm drop is there? Let me know...

Common problem found with the 9.5" converters, thats why they have to lock them up.
