One of my friends is having a problem and here is what he posted on another board So I was wondering what you guys thought of it and if you could id the convertor and also tell him what stall and brand of tcc to get.
Have been discussing a boost control problem with quite a few people. I have come to the conclusion that it is converter related,...
Bob slusser told me that I should check my stall,....well......
I tried power braking it and it start spinning tires with NO BOOST,...and about 1300 RPM???
There for I pulled the sheild off of my 1 year old transmission (aamco) and the converter looked brand new but said only 20G on it????
Anyone have a clue as to why a proffesional transmission company would put this "no stalling" hunk of crap in a 87 grand national??????
Please keep in mind my first gear sucks bad,....15 psi...slow spool up
but 2nd....and 3rd....is better than great!
