I never torqued 'em. Just good and tight, somewhat short of breaking a stud.

hmm, nice and tight, and check em after 100 miles, no torque wrench needed IMO. ive never used a torque wrench on any of my wheels, just a big 4 way lug wrench. nuts never loosen either, so im happy. but i have seen some people who have aluminum wheels, and tightened their lug nuts down so far, that they cant get em off, not even a snap on 900 lbs ft torque impact hammer would get it off, i still dont know if they got the thing off or not. so, if your a muscle builder, make sure you dont tighten TOO tight.

scotty, you gonna finally get that car to 41 this year. Will you race it at the micwest challenge. (brackets)

Hey there jet, nope but i will probably BE at midwest challenge. I give up on making deadlines. Ive come to one realization, you cant rely on anyone but yourself when trying to get your car done. I give up. When its done its done.

100 FT #'s is all ya need to keep 'em tight....anymore could be dangerous depending on the rim as mentioned above
