Putting together a TTA Motor for the first time. Don't see any around Canada, so for the first time it happened. My question is how much do you torque the Rockers too??
I would go anywheres between 35 to 45 lbs..!!!

Thanks

IIRC the shaft bolts are 25 Ft lbs.
May consider grade 8 or lamaloy bolts back in there if running higher springs and agrresive cam

There's no rocker shaft on the TTA heads, they are torque to lash...I think it's 41ft/lbs for the rocker arm nut,but I'd have to look at the supplement manual for sure.

I know this is a pretty old thread, but I am also putting together a TTA engine and would like to know the rocker arm torque. My Buick repair manual says 25 ft lbs for the GN engine, but this one has different heads and I wondered if WS6, above, ever did verify if the TTA needs 41 ft lbs. Can anyone help me? Any info would be appreciated.

The rocker arm bolts/studs per the Flint engine description manual for the TTA says 50-65 Nm ....
