My converter will not lock up manually or with the computer. It happened right after we put a Art Carr shift kit in it. I put a OTC scanner on it and the computer is telling it to lock up. I have put a new solenoid in it and it is the stock D-5. If the brake switch was bad the comp. would not be telling it to lockup right? If the converter was bad would it make noise? Please help.
