Is there a way to determine the stall if a converter without being on the car (ie internal parts)..

Is it possible to rebuild a converter????

a careful examination of the components will yield a pretty good idea how the convertor will respond behind a particular engine and vehicle weight .i guess ever since the first convertor was welded or bolted shut they have been rebuildable.
