Anyone have 1st hand experience with these tires? Grip? Tire life? Problems?

Not 1st hand experience but I have a bunch of friends who have run those tires and loved them....Great all around tire!

I personally run the TOYO Proxis T1R's on my car and love the way they perform. Even get 1.8 60 foot times with them...The R888's would be even better!!

I love the look of 888 tread pattern, I run the TQ Proxy drag radial and like them.

Friend of mine has a set of R888's on a twin turbo corvette and he had good things to say about them. I also know of another guy who won a Time Attack championship last year with R888's on a Nissan. (Not exactly 1st hand experience but hope it helps)

Thanks Guys that's what I needed to hear,

I have heard good things about them regarding grip. Not so good in the wet but 99% of my driving is dry.

The only thing keeping me from pulling the trigger now is tread wear. I hear about 5-6,000 miles max!! Sticky and long life just don't go together.
