I checked the TPS output and this is what I found. At idle it reads .44v and wide open using throttle cable it reads 4.30v. If I use the switch lever by itself and open all the way it reads 4.89v. Is 4.3 adequate or should I readjust it?
It looks like I could grind down the throttle lever bracket where it stops against the throttle body to give it more travel. Is this an option? Thanks

Sometimes you have to file those plastic guides on the side of the tps where the screws/half moon washers go. If you can't get full tps voltage, doing this and sliding the sensor forward usually does the trick.

Remove your floor mat. You'd be surprised at how it screws up the travel.

I hear you with the floormat trouble but I'm not even using the gas pedal from inside, I am pushing on the throttle lever on the TB to go to WO position.
So do I need at least a 4.5v reading?
