TPS TEC Question

Is this upgrade worth it? I can not get my regal to go into WOT on the scanner. I installed new carpet about two years ago but I dont think this is a problem.

I would make sure that the throttle cable is opening the TB all the way first. Adjust the cable accordingly. After you can check your TPS voltage with the engine off, key on with a regular voltmeter. If you aren't getting 4.7ish at WOTit could be the TPS out of adjustment. What voltage are you getting at WOT and idle?

The TPS Tec tells the ECM that the Throttle is at WOT even if the actual throttle is at 70% open, so it will go into Power Enrichment. That's not going to get more fuel in the cylinders though.

I havent checked it for awhile. I am getting back into the grand national craze and am throwing around some upgrade ideas before I pull the T Type back into the garage to work on it. I will give the numbers a check and let you know.
