I put my new aluminum radiator up on the mantle...Mark, could you please send me another one that's not too pretty to put in the car???:biggrin: J/K, I installed it today and it fit perfectly (included the necessary fittings to hook up the trans cooler too) and so far has kept my coolant temp right at 160 (even dipped down to 156 at one point well after the car had been completely warmed up). I am truly amazed at how quickly he got it to me...I ordered it late at night on Thursday so it didn't become official until Friday, and it showed up today (the following Tuesday)!!! And at only $399 plus shipping it was a steal. Most Buick stealerships are charging more than that for a stock replacement!!! Couldn't possibly be happier Mark...will be back for more goodies!:biggrin:

I guess since it was 1:16 AM when I posted the above feedback I should have said the radiator arrived "yesterday"...Oh well, I was sleepy and the new day never starts till I wake up anyway!:biggrin:

I forgot about that...I've got the braided oil cooler lines too; looks real nice with this radiator.

It's the same size as far as height & width go but it has a thicker core. It looks like it could have been a 4 core radiator but it still has 3 cores; they're just wider tubes than on the stock radiator. The transmission & oil coolers are in the stock location, as is the drain ****. It comes with a cap that has a chain to tether it to the radiator overflow port.

One thing I should add for anybody that replaces their radiator, is to make sure the 2 bolts that hold the cooling fan to the lower mounting bracket aren't touching the radiator, especially on one with a thicker core like this. My other radiator I removed (stock AC Delco replacement) was only 8 months old when it started leaking, and the vendor I bought it from agreed over the phone to give me a refund as long as he could get warranty credit. Once I removed it though I could clearly see there's no way he would do that--the head on one of the bolts I mentioned had rubbed a hole in one of the core tubes so I'm stuck with an 8-month-old radiator that needs repaired or recored so I can save it as a spare or sell it. To fix the problem, I removed the bolts and ground the heads down on a bench grinder to make them flatter. Now that everything's back together I can look down between the new radiator and the fan & see that nothing's touching so hopefully I'll never have to replace my radiator again.
