Well just got back from the track tonight and i new my ETs wouldn't be there. But had good MPH here are the times. First run was 12.76 at 119 with a 2.30 60 foot time, Second run 12.52 at 114 MPH with a 60 foot time 2.09, Third run 12.49 at 119 MPH 60 foot times 2.11. I need to get a converter i am still running a stock converter with my turbo a TE45a. i couldn't build any boost off line.I guess i'll be getting a Precision 3600 stall soon. Oh well i had fun out there tonight. Rob

Boy howdy! At 119mph you should be running around 11.8-12.2 (in my opinion only), not mid-to-high 12's. And those 60 foots are really bad! Gotta get some boost off the line. You're probably pretty good in street races where you don't have to launch hard!

Nice MPH, what boost were you running? 119MPH will easily support 11.40's once you get that thing launching w/ some boost and hooking.

With Champion heads and intake, and that Turbo, you have enough injectors to go REALLY deep in the 11's. Something is not right.

I was running 23 pounds of boost. I could turn it up a couple of more pounds but i couldn't get the car off the line. I JUST NEED TO GET A CONVERTER FOR IT THAT TURBO NEEDS AT LEAST 3600 STALL. I AM STILL RUNNING A STOCK CONVERTER.

What size tires are you using? is that a street chip or a race chip? were you running race gas? did you lock the converter? I would expect more than 119 at 23 psi with those mods, but not if you weren't running a full "race" set up.

I know you know this but that converter is really killing you off the line. I bet it pulls like a bat out of hell once it finally spools:cool:

I am running a 26*10.5 MT street ET. I had 118 race gas in there and the converter was locked but it felt like the transmissin was slipping a little plus it has 119000 miles on the transmission. So that will be rebuilt this winter along with a converter. Plus it was 90 degrees out side and humid as hell. I have a RA 106 chip in it. The first pass it jumped up to 29 pounds of boost so i let out of it and pedal it down the track and stayed at 23 pounds at about 3\4 throttle i just didn't want to see parts flying all over the place. The last pass when it got up to boost i started skateing then it hooked and started to pull hard. Well i had fun that all it matters.

119 is a lot of mph with 26" tires. You might pick up with 28" tires. Especially after you switch to the looser converter.

Thats what i was thinking of is going to a 28'' tire. What width do you think i should go with 9" or 10" Thanks Rob
