Santa was nice enough to bring me a B&M Supercooler and PTC 3000 stall converter. The supercooler came with barb fittings to slide the hose over. Do I need to use teflon sealant or teflon tape on them (when I connect them to the hardline/radiator) or not?

I like to use plumbers teflon paste on any pipe threads, not needed on compression type fittings.

And definately no goop on a hose barb fitting to hose connection.

If the other end of the hose barb fitting is NPT pipe thread into the cooler as in an adapter fitting, then teflon paste or tape could be used, NPT fittings only.
