ok...I put in some fluid, starter her up and the fluid starting gushing out fast. I could see that it was coming from between the torque convertor and the transmission but couldn't tell if it was the pan gasket or if the convertor "popped off." It was definately NOT coming from between the convertor and the bell housing/flywheel area.
I bought a pan gasket and will re-seal the pan during the week. Hopefully this is the cause.
