My mechanic just pulled my 89 TTA tranny, non lock up, 13-vane pump (cannot verify), shift-kit (cannot verify). Still used it up until it was pulled to put in something stronger.
Shifted good from 1-2 & 3-4, 2-3 shift would wander around if you were accelerating very slowly. Only got slightly worse over 4 years of driving but would flare enough that I got scared and went to another tranny. Once in 3rd gear you were fine??? I drove it everywhere but needs rebuilt!!! :frown:
The tranny is in central Ohio and will be available in a few days. $350 OBO.
