Tranny in car in Storage

My Killer Street/Strip Tranny from Bruce is in storage. It was installed in August, has about 1,000 miles on it. I put the car in storage in December, I start it up once a month. Is there anything special I should do to protect the tranny/fluid? It will be there until August. Its pretty sad when I'm more concerned with my tranny then my motor.

I hate when your right!

The car sat in storage for 10 months, I started it twice, never put the thing in gear even once, I finally went to pick it up, it drove home flawlessly chirping the tires through all the gears, I forgot how nice it was. Thanks for the tranny great Bruce! I feel like I should give you more money
