tranny issues, need help asap!

my tranny has been a little off for a while now. Slipping a little bit under wot, mostly from first to second. Now with the bigger turbo, added torque, first gear revs really high before it shifts into second. If I press the throttle too much in second, it will down shift to first, and buck like a wild horse yeee haaa. I've read a few other peoples problems, but most of their trannys were fried. I have a spare g-body 2004r I can put in, but need to know if there is anything visual I can look at to give somewhat of an inspection to it before I install it to the same results? Very little debree in pan, not sure of what it came out of, not sure of its past condition. I dont want to chance it and put it in, waste 35 bucks on parts, then have a even worst tranny. I can still dyno the car with a bad first gear, you dyno in second or third I believe which still pull really hard. Thanks guys. Please give some advice on what to visually look for, or what I can pull off and look at.

transmission has internal damage,band and direct drum etc.remove and inspect repair.on a budget?spend 65.00 on my manual and repair it yourself.

Dude, You got issues...

I would NEVER make a pull knowing I had an issue. You may get in 1 pull but it could let go and blow the motor. Then you got nothing. Also, you have to think about the safety of the people around the dyno.

Personally I think this would be a HUGE mistake. Also, if the 35 bucks is going to bother you, sell the car now.

I cannot even believe you even contemplated this.

I posted that I have an extra tranny, thats what i'm going to drop in before the dyno what 35 bucks? and no, I would not neglect the car and put people in danger, what the f is wrong with you people. I simply put a post on here asking what to look for in the second tranny, as far as a pre inspection before I drop it in. It is a known good tranny, just want to make sure. If you dont have anything nice to say, or some real help besides bad mouthing, dont post back. Thanks

yes, offense was taken, I said I have a spare, my buddy said it is a good tranny so I trust what he said. No I would not risk other people standing around, I'm young, but not dumb. No I would not sell the car over a tranny, I built it, and when it comes down to it, I'll fix what ever necessary, including a tranny. I'm sure others will appreciate your concerns, but please next time, dont reply back in an insulting manner, I see you are a moderator, act like one, not like a spoiled kid. Thank you. and oh yeah, if the motor blows, I do have a spare also, and I would still have my car, not nothing

Just safety minded. When I said nothing I meant no motor. Just be careful and don't take things so personally. If I insulted you, I apologize, but safety comes first in my book. Like I said, take as advice, not as critizism.
I have no problem apologizing, just your post hit me wrong. No biggie, we willl all wake up tommorrow.
