R Red Regal T Senior Member Joined May 24, 2001 Aug 6, 2006 #2 Typical trans cooler has 1/2" lines with 3/8" inlet while oil cooler lines are 5/8" with AN fittings at the inlet. You wouldn't want to restrict oil flow. Could wipe out your bearings by oil starvation at WOT.
