tranny problem after rebuild

just got the trans rebuilt with a lockup 2800 stall. and i an having a problem with the stall converter locking and unlocking when its not suposed too. it locks in second gear at low rps. and then unlocks before 3rd, then locks again? what could cause this?

Sticking lock-up solenoid.

Also, make sure you/they didn't pinch the solenoid wires between the block and bell housing.....

what wire the only ones i got is the big negative cable, and the 3 or 4 prong clip that goes in the side, and can you get to the soleniod without dropping the tranny
