tranny slippin?

when i drive my ttype 1st and 2nd are fine but 3rd;it goes in gear than jumpes straight into over drive. then it lags on the freeway taking its time to speed up.is it slippin or what? ohh yeah and it jerks when i slow down

TCC solenoid is sticking. Converter is locked all the time....except first.
