trans adjustment?

My trans wont shift at wot where do i adjust it and how ?

Some more information would be useful. For starters, is the transmission original to the car? Has it been recently overhauled? If so, did this problem start after the rebuild? If it hasn't been rebuilt, how many miles are on it and when did the problem start?
