Trans Brake Question

How much would a trans brake help on my 60 ft compared to foot braking? I have never had a trans brake before and was considering one. I have the S-10 manual brake cylinders on mine and they do good but i'm not to up on what all would need to be done along with a trans brake to make it work it's best.

what are you 60fting now, how much boost are you leaving the line with on the foot brake?

I can leave on 5-7 lbs but it's kinda strange because my 1/8 ET is quicker when i leave on less boost? 60 foots are in the 180's. I'm wandering could my converter being a 3400 be hurting me and also could that be the reason for quicker ET's leaving on less boost is letting the converter work better?

Install a line lock...it'll keep the rear brakes cool...watch how much more boost/rpm you can leave the line with.
