trans cooler fittings

Juat want to double check my research. Ill be doing a/n.fittings out the housing. Theyre 1/4 npt correct?

are you talking about the trans case? They are straight thread not NPT

You could use 1/4 NPT fittings but you have to be careful because NPT threads are tapered and can crack the case if tightened to much. The straight thread fittings require a sealing washer to seal.
