Hopefully, I can fix this while on the car. An aftermarket deeper trans pan with welded seams...I've found 3, maybe 4, spots where trans fluid is seeping thru the weld bead. Small seeps...but enough to coat my crossmember after about 600 miles of driving.

1) What is the best method to fix this...reweld??

2) Is there a fix that can be done with trans pan still installed??

Thanks, Bob

Re-weld is the best way to fix it.

To do the best job it needs to be removed. It has to be clean and dry where your going to weld it.

Don't mess with epoxies or glue.
As Scott says, re-weld is the most dureable and reliable. Once done correctly it will not leak again.
