trans jerk

[GN NEWBY]

I have a 87 GN with 75k stock. seems after driving for a while I go to slow at red light the trans kinda jerking and chugging, If I give it some gas go's into gear hard. Any Idea's ?

Sounds like a sticking TCC soleniod.

Unplug the connnector on the drivers side of the trans and drive the car,It will most likely not do it again,If so you must drop the pan and change the torque convertor solenoid.
