Does anyone have the translator plus and extender chip on the hot air. Does it work and what are the advantages or disadvantages? I can't seem to get my maf numbers very high at all. Maybe this would help.
Yeah it would work on your car, but im not sure whether or not you need to swap over to an 87 ecu setup. Your MAF could be going bad on ya, if thats the case I do have a working unit in the garage for an 85.
I did convert to an 87 ecm and tried an 84 maf and then an 87 with different cal paks. I think ramchargers told me I did need the 87 ecm to have a translator.
